Eastbrook House, Brooksby's Walk

East London, UK, 2016

The team were appointed in May 2014 to develop the site of a former Victorian warehouse, sitting back from Chatsworth Road, Clapton

The scheme provides six residential apartments over three work studios within the warehouse, alongside three new build houses behind a façade of brick faced piers and lintels.

The detailing of the brick lintels references the traditional arched lintels of the historic building albeit in the muted tones of the Staffordshire brown brindle engineering bricks used. The first of the three houses is fully glazed and set back to separate the new building from the old.
