William Paul were appointed in 2012 to develop a  master plan proposal for this large ex-industrial warehouse site in Hackney. The mixed-use proposal includes conversion, extension and new build elements in two phases of development, to provide a total of 48 residential units (26 new units) and two B1 studios.

This project constitutes the first phase and includes a new build development of eight apartments over B1 office. Planning consent was granted for phase 01 in May 2013, and work is currently on site . The proposal employs a number of sustainable environmental design principles. All residential units have a south facing aspect to maximise solar gains in winter. Green roofing both supports biodiversity and assists in the buildings negotiation of tight urban site.
